Work with various company departments to determine how business intelligence information and analytic solutions can be leveraged to support business strategies, capabilities, and processes. Accountable for the full spectrum of business analysis functions. This position is responsible for: eliciting, analyzing, specifying, documenting, communicating, and validating business intelligence requirements.  Communicating business intelligence requirements to executives and various departments to create a shared understanding of the business needs. This position will use a variety of business intelligence and data analysis tools such as DOMO, mySQL, and Electronic Health Systems. 

The job is multi-functional and requires making sense of large-scale data across numerous touch points and integrations. The job requires proficiency using statistics and visualizations to answer specific questions, design thinking about personas and data schemas, expert data visualization skills, and most importantly, a passion for crafting scalable dashboards and reporting strategies to communicate results to management.

This is a fully remote, high-paced work environment. 

What you will do:

Working as a member of the Urgent Care 24/7 team, the Data Analyst will work on business facing projects focused on discovering customer/marketing analytics, designing & building dashboards, online reporting solutions, data connections and ETL while helping to communicate project details to executive staff internally.

Design and build dashboards and self-service tools (primarily using Domo) to analyze and present data associated with patient and client experience, system performance, business operations, and strategic decision making to be consumed by executive team members

Engage with clients, marketing and management teams to understand our patient and client data and analytics needs and devise solutions to solve for those needs.

Craft world class online BI tools to support our clients and patients.

Propose and implement performance reporting solutions that anticipate and account for data fragility, data scale, data governance/privacy, and accessibility to critical information.

Advocate user experience best practices to create dashboards that are intuitive and meet the expectations of our executive staff.

Influence upstream data model design, drive aggregate definitions, and develop your own data solutions as needed.

Connect to and transform datasets (using Domo’s ETL tools and others).

Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries.

Analyze business data and identify opportunities for system improvements.

Successfully bridge analytics and business, speaking the language of both.

Who You Are:

The successful candidate will have 3+ years working hands on with data analysis and data visualizations and must have experience using Domo. 

This individual will join an enthusiastic, fast-paced, and dynamic team at UC 24/7.

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, applied mathematics or another related field, etc.) or equivalent work experience.

3+ years’ working with data as a BI developer, data scientist, or data analyst.

3+ years’ experience in using BI and visualization tools for analysis, insights, and visualization / presentation,

2+ years’ professional experience successfully designing, building, and running self-service analytics reports and dashboards.

Ability to demonstrate creative problem solving and independently generate solutions using analytical skills and technical knowledge.

Strong communication skills and proven experience in effectively partnering with customer and business teams to deliver on their goals and objectives.

Ability to condense complex concepts and analysis into clear and concise takeaways that drive action.

Ability to synthesize requirements into wireframes, mockups, and dev specs.

Provide evidence of participation in data analytics projects, which included analysis, visualizations, presentations, reports, etc.

Experience in predictive analytics.

Strong SQL skills and experience dealing with large data sets.

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VBA.

Basic understanding of project management.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that embraces change, creativity, and flexibility.
